The Mongol people emerged as an ethnic entity in the 13th century; today, they comprise two main nations and consist of over twenty distinct ethnic groups. This hall showcases the clothing and ornaments worn by Mongols during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The exhibits include state ceremonial attire, traditional clothing for men and women of various ethnic groups, seasonal garments, and decorative accessories. At the entrance to the hall, displays feature archaeological finds related to the history of Mongol clothing, illustrations from manuscripts and scrolls, and photographic panels reproducing historical images from the turn of the 20th century.
